Versatile Projects

     New construction and reconstruction of the South Fork of Boulder Creek Road.  Work included, several new stream crossings, culvert  removal and installation of new culverts, two new recreational parking areas,  new roadway approach to County Road C-602, retaining walls, bridge construction, clearing and grubbing, erosion control measures, permanent seeding, roadway excavation and embankment,  and roadway aggregate placement    

   Included construction of the North Apron measuring approximately 225’x270’   (approximately    7,400 square yards including   taxiway/taxilane connectors) and a 25’ wide taxilane approximately 458+’   long    (approximately 1,300 square yards). The project also included associated pavement markings, installation of aircraft tie downs, grading taxilane safety areas, apron lighting, and drainage improvements.     

      Upland harvest of trees from the Colville National Forest including transport; establishing machine access to Sullivan Creek,  installing and maintaining temporary erosion control measures, installing and managing stream diversions, installing seven Engineered Log Structures (ELJs), installation of one revetment structure, extension of a    guardrail, and surface restoration   

  Replacement of the Sullivan Lake Inlet Bridge.  Removal of Old Bridge, existing creek diversion, reconstruction of both bridge approaches, installation of new footers, precast concrete segmental wall, precast bridge installation with guardrail, road surface construction and paving.    

Design and build a functioning wastewater system to replace the aged system for the Kalispel Tribe Reservation. Installed force main pumping stations, precast structures, piping, access roads, excavated new lagoons, and installed liners.

 Improvement of *** SR 231 from MP 74.31 to MP 74.51 in Stevens County with the repair of the roadway by constructing roadway excavation, quarry spalls, select borrow, embankment compaction, surfacing, paving, guardrail, traffic control    items
